I’m very happy with the quality of service that I received from Dr. Maharaj and his team at both the Chantilly and Lansdowne Oral Surgery sites. All staff were both professional and friendly. During the my first visit, a broken molar tooth needed to be extracted and the extraction site needed to be prepared for a future implant. Dr. Maharaj carefully described the nature of the work before, during and after the procedure and checked-up on my recovery in the days following. He also explained that, for my case, many months would pass between the initial tooth extraction and the final readiness for a crown to be attached to the implant. He explained that bone and implant need to become well-integrated before a crown should be attached to a molar implant. Overall, I had ~5 appointments with Dr. Maharaj over the course of many months. Most of the appointments were for him to check on the progress of the healing of the implant site before giving a final OK that the site was ready for my dentist to attach a crown. I now have my crown on the implant and my mouth feels back to normal.
